Face to Face with Biniam Girmay Hailu

 In his rich palmarès, he won the Ghent-Wevelgem 2022 and conquered the Under 23 road silver medal at the 2021 World Championships. On 17 May he won the tenth stage of the Giro d'Italia, beating at the finish line Jesi Mathieu van der Poel.

We asked him a few questions  also concerning Nalini, sponsor of the Intermarché Circus Wanty team:

What are your memories of the pro world related to Nalini?
I got to know Nalini when Daniel Teklehaimanot joined Cofidis. In the beginning of 2018 he gave me one bib short, which was quite comfortable.So thanks to him I learned more about Nalini. Afterwards, when I turned pro, I saw Nalini everywhere.

What are your main goals for 2023?
It doesn’t matter which race but I would like to win a big race.

What do you particularly like about our country?
What I like most in Italy is the culture. There are some similarities with our culture, for example the fact that people often go to the cafetaria. That’s what we also do back home. You can meet a lot of people there and spending time with friends is what I like.

What's your feedback about wearing Nalini products?
The quality is really good and last season we had a really good and big package of clothing. My favorite item is our time trial sprint suit.
